Step by Step: Using the Income Tax e-filing website 

1. Visit the official Income Tax e-filing website at https://www.incometax.gov.in/.
2. Log in to your account using your Permanent Account Number (PAN) as the user ID and your password.
3. Navigate to the 'Services' tab from the top menu.
4. Select 'Annual Information Statement (AIS)' from the dropdown menu.
5. Click on 'Proceed' to be redirected to the AIS portal.
6. Click on the 'AIS' tile.
7. Select the relevant Financial Year (FY) 2024-25 from the dropdown menu.
8. Click on the 'Download' option.
9. Choose the desired file format (PDF or JSON) to download your AIS.

Password for the downloaded PDF:

If you download the AIS in PDF format, it will be password-protected. The password is your PAN in lowercase, followed by your date of birth or date of incorporation/formation in DDMMYYYY format, without any spaces. For example, if your PAN is ABCDE1234A and your date of birth is July 28, 1997, the password would be abcde1234a28071997
